Finding Me

Finding Me
Publisher: Bethany House Publishers
5 Stars

A Brief Description:

After her father and stepmother's accidental death, Kelli Huddleston sorts through their belongings and learns a shocking secret. Years before, her father faked his death during a boat wreck at sea--and faked Kelli's as well. He'd run from a wife, a son, and a daughter back in Tennessee, meaning Kelli has a family she's never known.
She's already cashed the payout on her dad's life insurance check and looks at it as her ticket to a new life. The lure and puzzle of digging into this hidden past is too much to resist, and she soon finds herself in Tennessee. When the trip threatens to open doors to the past better left shut, and her plans for the future are threatened, Kelli must make an agonizing choice that will change her life forever

I was excited to receive this book from Bethany House to review.  The cover is both  inviting and intriguing to me so I was really looking forward to reading this book. What I was not really prepared for was the emotional journey this story took me on.
I opened the book and was immediately drawn to Kelli.  She is a beautiful, young woman who has recently graduated from college and has her entire life in front of her, but suddenly she was sucked into a life changing situation.  I really liked her and that she was always putting everyone else's needs in front of her own.
The storyline flows effortlessly and will quickly pull the reader into the story and keep them turning the pages.  The author weaves her words together in a way that literally brings both the characters and the community to life.
I loved this book and would recommend it to anyone.
I received this book from Bethany House for a honest review without bias as stated above.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.
