My Review:
The author brings us a fairy tale romance.  All little girls dream of one day of becoming a princess when they are little, but sometimes life gets in the way of dreams.  This is a very intriguing romance.  The author brings us two, very, strong characters that learn what it means to fight for love.  This is a story about grief, heartbreak, forgiveness, questions of faith and love.  I like Corina and have lots of empathy for all she's endured.  She keeps getting knocked down, but she learns from it and comes back stronger than before.  She is a sweet character and is always trying to help others. Prince Stephen is not your typical royal.  Yes, he is handsome and good natured, but he's hiding a secret.  It's a secret he lives with everyday and shapes his decisions.  After returning from the war he has dealt with survivor's guilt for almost 6 years now and my heart breaks for him at times.  This is a great storyline of second chances and finding your way back.  This story is book 3 in a series, but to me it is a stand alone story.  I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a good fairy tale.
I received this book from Netgalley for a honest opinion without bias as stated above.
