Final Verdict

My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin.
But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate who pleads our case before the father.
He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous.

My Thoughts:

Wow!! What a wonderful romantic suspense, but it's also so much more that that. I was immediately pulled into the story and kept turning the pages until the end. So for me this was a one setting book that I finished late at night, but it was so worth it. The engaging characters immediately wove their way into my heart. Aurora is a feisty, young attorney that has one goal and that's to help others. She wants to advocate for second chances for those deserving. Beckett Marsh, the town sheriff, is a former Navy SEAL who known to be meticulous at his job and takes his oath of protecting people seriously. When Aurora takes own a case that makes her a target Beckett's skills are tested. This is a fast paced story that has elements of suspense, mystery, romance and lots of faith. This is the first book I've read by this author, but it won't be the last. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a good suspense.
*I received this book from the author, but was not required to write a positive review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
