Cover Art

In one week, the wrong man will be executed for murder.
Let the chase for the real killer begin.

It's been eighteen years since TV crime reporter Andi Hollister's sister was murdered. The confessed killer is behind bars, and the execution date is looming. But when a letter surfaces stating that the condemned killer didn't actually do it, Detective Will Kincaide of the Memphis Cold Case Unit will stop at nothing to help Andi get to the bottom of it. After all, this case is personal: the person who confessed to the crime is Will's cousin. They have less than a week to find the real killer before the wrong person is executed. But much can be accomplished in that week--including uncovering police corruption, running for your life, and falling in love.

My Thoughts:

I loved this book!
This story is a romantic suspense and one I would recommend to anyone who likes this genre.
This is an intriguing plot as Andi Hollister is racing against time to find evidence to prove her sister's killer may actually be innocent.
Justice Delayed revolves around Andi Hollister a TV crime reporter in Memphis.  She is currently working on a documentary focusing on unsolved cold cases and girls on the street in hopes of getting a break into the large network news arena.  Andi is known to take risks to get the story and is presently recovering from a ruptured disc in her back.
Will Kincade has been apart of Andi's life since he was childhood best friends with her brother Brad.  I like how their friendship is conveyed in a very genuine way, but suddenly it develops into something more.  Andi's character is very likeable, but she is a little reckless in her behavior. Will's character shows genuine turmoil over finding himself in the situation of looking for evidence that will free the killer of Andi and Brad's sister.  He knows the hurt it will cause the family.  When Andi is attacked in her apartment Will's protective instincts kick in, but the further they investigate the more it appears that his cold case and the attacks on Andi could be related.
This book has elements of a spine tingling suspense, mystery, turmoil, romantic tension, forgiveness, and faith.  It quickly pulled me in and kept me turning the pages.
