The bodyguards of Elite Guardians Agency have it all.

My Thoughts:

Today is release day for Always Watching!!!
Yes, I'm excited because this means the adventure begins.

With this being the first book in a new series it gives you the background of the developing the Elite Guardians agency.
Three, young women involved in different forms of law enforcement meet each other in Athens, Greece while attending bodyguard school. After graduation they formed their own company, Elite Guardians, and as the business grew other agents have been hired.  The Elite Guardians is a group of strong women who put their lives in danger to protect others.  Their clientele ranges from someone famous, like a musical star or politician, to just someone feeling they need protection, but also they are contracted through the mayor of Greenville, South Carolina to assist the police when needed.  As a result of this they carry law enforcement powers where they can investigate or arrest should the need arise.

This book cover is different from any of Lynette Eason's previous titles. It is  beautiful and gives you a glimpse of how intense this story will be.

Behind the cover video:

From page one I was pulled into this adventure.  It opens with one of the Elite Guardians and their client, Wade Savage, being attacked in the parking lot of his radio show and the edge of your seat suspense begins.   Olivia Edwards steps up to take on the protection detail.  Olivia and Wade are very strong, well developed characters that have real issues.  Olivia grew up in foster care after her parents were killed in an accident, then her foster sister was killed during a mob attack and lastly she has drifted away from God.  Wade brings his own issues- his mother was killed by a stalker when he was very young, his first wife drove off a cliff after a night of drinking, he is also raising their daughter who has severe panic attacks and then his friend and soon to be fiance` committed suicide with not apparent reason.
As the story progresses Olivia and Wade find things more complicated than they ever imagined. Not only has the stalker upped thier game, but the attraction between Olivia and Wade is heating up.  The stalker seems to have intimate knowledge of not only Wade's life, but also every step he takes and is attacking everyone close to Wade.

This is a fast paced story that flows effortlessly and kept my attention.  In fact when I looked at the clock and it said 1 am I was still turning the pages.   The characters and setting are detailed and perceptive.  The author's ability to weave words together to bring her characters to life is amazing.
This book is considered a suspense with a mild romance and it is, but it is also much more.  It gives us several messages of faith also.  It reminded me that no matter what struggles you face that God is always with you and that you must trust in God in all things.
This is a book/series that I would recommend to anyone who loves suspense or a good, clean read.

* I received this book free from the publisher  and author .  I was not required to write a positive review.  The opinions I have expressed are my own.

  4. Three of my most anticipated Christian Contemporary romances released or will release this month. One of them was a surprise early release. They are Amish Sweethearts by Leslie Gould, You're the One that I Want by Susan May Warren, and Change of Hearts by Courtney Walsh. Change of Hearts wasn't supposed to release until March 1, but it available to ship on Amazon right now. Amish Promises (book 1 in Leslie Gould's new series) was one of my favorite reads of 2015. Two romantic suspense books that I have been looking forward to are (of course) Lynette Eason's, Always Watching and Dani Pettrey's, Cold Shot. I am so excited for the female focused series.

Katrina, I was already suscribed by email and following you and Revel on FB. I made sure to add you to my Twitter. Thank you for the giveaway. tlhcoupon(at)hotmail(dot)com

    1. Terrill, those are some great choices. I asked this question to see if maybe I was missing any being released that I would want to read. Thank you for letting me know about Change of Hearts by Courtney Walsh. I need to pick it up. It's really great that it's already released. The same thing happened with Step by Step by Candace Calvert. As a reader I love it when this happens. If you looked through my blog you will see I've read and review Cold Shot. You will love it. I, like you, love the female focused series, but I also like it when the women are shown in strong roles like with Olivia Edwards in this story.
Thank you for stopping by. Happy Reading. Good luck in the giveaway.
      Blessings
